France: As protests in France have intensified over the past few weeks, 110,000 people marched toward the capital, Paris, on Saturday. Clashes broke out between the protesters and the police as they neared the city. To prevent the situation from escalating further, the police dispersed the protesters by firing tear gas and using water cannons.
