In the 2025-26 financial year alone, the Tamizhaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) received a total of Rs.13.30 crore in donations. Of this amount, Adhav Arjuna-who serves as the Minister for Public Works-contributed Rs.8.20 crore. Another minister Ranjith Kumar,acting as a sort of competitor, chipped in with Rs.5 crore.
