Old Age Pension: The old-age pension was not disbursed on the scheduled dates this month, causing severe hardship to the elderly across Tamil Nadu. Amidst this situation, a new order regarding the receipt of the pension has been issued, a move to which the Communist Party of India (Marxist) [CPI(M)] has expressed its opposition.
