A verdict was delivered today in a case challenging the inclusion of a Union Minister-selected by the Prime Minister-instead of the Chief Justice of India in the panel responsible for appointing the Chief Election Commissioner and two Election Commissioners in India. As the two Supreme Court judges delivered differing opinions, the case is being referred to a bench headed by the Chief Justice of I
