The wage ceiling for the Provident Fund (EPFO) has been raised to ₹25,000. Consequently, the Central Government has directed industrial and corporate establishments to ensure that their employees are enrolled in the scheme. The Provident Fund Commissioner for the Chennai South Zone has also issued a notification regarding this.
