The Hindu has reported that Chief Minister C. Joseph Vijay has written to Prime Minister Narendra Modi requesting a change in the company managing the Chennai airport. Dissatisfied with certain aspects of the airport’s operations, the Tamil Nadu government, led by Vijay, sent the letter in August.
