Cauvery: Due to heavy rainfall in the Cauvery catchment areas of Tamil Nadu, the water inflow to Hogenakkal has increased to 14,000 cubic feet per second today. The inflow is expected to rise further if the heavy rains continue. This water is expected to reach the Mettur Dam by tomorrow morning.
