Sathyabama, the candidate for TVK, filed her nomination papers today for the Dharapuram Assembly constituency. Having previously won the assembly election representing the AIADMK, Sathyabama resigned from her MLA post just days later to join the TVK. She is now contesting the by-election as the TVK candidate.
