Cauvery water: Amidst the Karnataka government’s continued delay in releasing the proportionate share of water due to Tamil Nadu, the Tamil Nadu government has filed a status report with the Supreme Court regarding the Cauvery water dispute. In the report, the state government has requested an order directing Karnataka to release the outstanding 77.604 TMC of water.
