Uttar Pradesh has begun to adopt the women’s travel scheme that is being successfully implemented in Tamil Nadu. A cabinet meeting led by Yogi Adityanath approved a scheme in the state allowing all women over the age of 60 to travel free of charge on government buses for their entire lives.
