Vijay: Chief Minister Vijay announced in the Legislative Assembly today that the Parandur airport project is being abandoned. Various quarters have criticized this announcement, stating that it is driven purely by ego and that the only ones likely to be pleased by it are Karnataka Chief Minister D.K. Shivakumar and Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu.
