Chief Minister Vijay has made a U-turn regarding the issue of constituency delimitation. Speaking at the Southern Zonal Council meeting chaired by Union Home Minister Amit Shah today, Vijay stated that it must be legally ensured that the representation of states in the Lok Sabha does not decrease. Previously, Chief Minister Vijay had advocated for fixing the number of seats permanently at 543.
