In a surprise inspection conducted across the Trichy Railway Division, 408 passengers were caught traveling without tickets. A total of ₹7.38 lakh was collected from them in fines. It is noteworthy that this marks the highest amount of fines collected in a single day within the Trichy Railway Division.
