Property tax: Amidst public complaints regarding widespread property tax hikes of up to 300% without prior notice, the Chennai Corporation has announced that objections concerning the increase in property assessment can be submitted either in person or via email to the Zonal Deputy Commissioner’s office. The public may begin registering their grievances starting at 10:00 AM tomorrow.
