Agri Krishnamurthy has responded to C.V. Shanmugam, asserting that an AIADMK government led by Edappadi Palaniswami will return to power in Tamil Nadu. Krishnamurthy questioned why Shanmugam did not attend the district-wise consultation meetings and pointed out that even in 1996—when ‘Amma’ was present—the AIADMK won only four seats, yet the party managed to make a comeback.
