The Madras High Court today dismissed the anticipatory bail plea filed by former DMK Minister Senthil Balaji in connection with the TASMAC irregularities case. Amidst speculation that he could be arrested, an urgent appeal seeking anticipatory bail has been filed in the Supreme Court; this petition is scheduled to be heard tomorrow.
