“The Tamil Nadu government has been fighting against the NEET exam from the very beginning. The NEET exam shatters the medical dreams of students from marginalized backgrounds; therefore, we do not want the NEET exam at all,” said DMK MP Dayanidhi Maran, recalling Anitha, a student from Tamil Nadu who died by suicide.
