Hindu religious activist T.R. Ramesh has stated that 3,085 acres of land—valued at over ₹25,000 crore and belonging to four temples in Karur and its surrounding areas—are being handed over to encroachers, describing this as a shameful act of betrayal committed by the TVK government against Hindu temples.
