Bangalore Bans Drinking Water: Bangalore has banned the use of drinking water for vehicle washing, gardening, road cleaning and construction to conserve water amid El Nino-driven monsoon disruptions. The BWSSB said the move aims to ensure drinking water security as India faces one of its driest Junes in years.
