Iraq Anti Corruption Raid: Officials conducted a surprise raid on the home of a female Iraqi MP following allegations of corruption and the misuse of public funds. During the raid, ₹539 crore in cash, 27 kilograms of gold, and gold-plated undergarments were seized from the MP’s—Hind al-Abbachi’s—residence. The officials were left stunned by the discovery of these items.
