A Coimbatore court dismissed the appeal filed by Hindu Makkal Katchi state youth wing secretary Surya Prasad against his conviction in an attempted murder case. Following the court’s order and issuance of an arrest warrant, police arrested him and lodged him in Coimbatore Central Prison.
