Tirupparankundram Deepam Case: The Tamil Nadu government informed the Madras High Court that it has appealed to the Supreme Court against the verdict permitting Karthigai Deepam atop Tirupparankundram hill. The court stressed communal harmony and adjourned the case to July 27.
