Following the joining of senior Communist Party (CPI) leader C Mahendran with TVK yesterday, the CPI has leveled harsh criticism against him. CPI State Secretary M. Veerapandian stated that disciplinary action had been taken against Mahendran because he acted in support of fraudsters.
