Congress party’s Praveen Chakravarty is set to be elected unopposed in the Rajya Sabha by-election. The nomination filing period, concluded today. Apart from Praveen Chakravarty, all other candidates were independents; their applications will be rejected. Consequently, Congress candidate Praveen Chakravarty is elected unopposed.
