Larsen & Toubro has signed a major MoU with the Tamil Nadu government to invest ₹18,600 crore across three landmark projects — a massive data centre in Kanchipuram, electronics manufacturing unit in Coimbatore, and shipyard expansion at Kattupalli. The investments, announced within 25 days of CM Vijay assuming office, are expected to generate around 8,200 direct jobs.
