Thiruvalluvar: Governor Arlekar had described Thiruvalluvar as a ‘Sanatani.’ Various quarters had expressed strong opposition to this. Against this backdrop, CPM State Secretary P. Shanmugam has raised the question: “How can it be correct to label the very person who proclaimed, ‘All life is equal by birth,’ as a Sanatani?”
