PepsiCo has applied for clearances to set up a new snacks and chips manufacturing plant at Manapparai SIPCOT in Trichy with an investment of around ₹880 crore, expected to create 650 direct jobs. This move further strengthens Trichy’s position as an emerging industrial hub in Tamil Nadu.
