A stir has been created at the Murugan temple in Thiruparankundram, near Madurai, after 87 devotees fainted after being caught in a crowd crush. Allegations have surfaced that adequate facilities were not provided, despite the massive gathering of devotees for the Vaikasi Visakam festival.
