Tamil Nadu Stone Qurry: Across Tamil Nadu, 67 stone quarries operating in violation of regulations have been temporarily shut down. Additionally, 469 vehicles transporting minerals without proper authorization have been seized. These actions were undertaken by officials from the Tamil Nadu Department of Mineral Resources, acting under the orders of T.K. Prabhu, the Minister for Natural Resources.
