Great confusion currently prevails within the AIADMK. Three MLAs belonging to C.V. Shanmugam’s faction have resigned from their legislative posts and joined Chief Minister Vijay’s Tamizhaga Vettri Kazhagam. Amidst this, five other MLAs from C.V. Shanmugam’s faction have defected, met with Edappadi Palaniswami, and joined his camp.
