“Since the new government assumed office, the continuous stream of news reports—totaling over 30 major incidents within just 12 days, including sexual assaults, and most recently, the abduction and murder of a young girl in Coimbatore—has cast serious doubts upon the state’s law and order situation,” criticized Opposition Leader Udhayanidhi Stalin.
