Reports suggest that Congress functionary Praveen Chakravarty is likely to contest the upcoming by-election for the Rajya Sabha seat left vacant by CV Shanmugam’s resignation. It is reported that negotiations regarding this matter are currently underway between the TVK and the Congress.
