The Madras High Court has directed the Election Commission of India to respond to a petition alleging that Vijay used children for political campaigning. The court also sought explanations from Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam, All India Anna Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam and TVK regarding allegations of cash distribution during elections.
