The Chennai Meteorological Center has issued an Orange Alert for the possibility of very heavy rainfall tomorrow, March 11, in Tirunelveli and three other southern districts. Following this, Tirunelveli District Collector Dr. R. Sukumar held a consultation with officials from all departments regarding the precautionary measures being undertaken.
