Due to the ongoing conflict involving Iran and the tense geopolitical situation in the Middle East, crude oil prices in the international market have remained consistently volatile. Consequently, oil companies have been incurring significant losses. To mitigate these losses, the price was hiked by ₹3 per liter on May 15th. Subsequently, the price has now been raised by another 90 paise per liter.
