Petrol diesel: Due to the prevailing tensions in the Middle East, the prices of petrol and diesel have been hiked across the country. However, the BJP-led Central Government had cultivated an image that fuel prices would not rise under its administration. Nevertheless, the current price hike has come as a shock to the public.
