Karuppiah, the TVK MLA representing the Sholavandan constituency, has been selected as the Pro-tem Speaker of the Tamil Nadu Legislative Assembly. All those elected in the Assembly elections-including Chief Minister Vijay and the cabinet ministers-will take their oaths as MLAs, starting tomorrow. Furthermore, he will preside as the Speaker during the confidence vote in the Assembly, through which
