The world-famous Madurai Chithirai Festival 2026 is set to begin in grand style on April 27 at Kallazhagar Temple in Azhagar Kovil with a 10-day celebration. As preparations intensify, Madurai District Collector Praveen Kumar personally inspected the venue and held detailed discussions with officials regarding security and festival arrangements.
