The police have registered a case against a couple from Neelankarai, Chennai, in connection with a fraud amounting to ₹45 lakhs, perpetrated by falsely claiming to be partners in a private company. A petition filed challenging this action is scheduled to come up for hearing before the Madras High Court on April 6th.
