according to a new amendment act by the Central Government, the submission of a birth certificate has now been made mandatory for obtaining a PAN card. It had previously been announced that individuals born after the year 2023 would not be issued a PAN card unless they possessed a government-issued digital birth certificate; this regulation will now apply to everyone.
