Reports have emerged indicating that former MLA Thaniyarasu’s Kongu Ilaignar Peravai is contemplating a withdrawal from the DMK alliance. Thaniyarasu has expressed dissatisfaction as, despite having requested a constituency seat within the DMK coalition to contest the upcoming Assembly elections, one has not yet been allotted to him.
