Kamal Haasan announced that Makkal Needhi Maiam will not contest the Assembly elections and will extend unconditional support to DMK, Chief Minister MK Stalin expressed gratitude, calling the decision a sacrifice and saying he was deeply moved and unsure how to thank him.
