The Central Government has announced the opening of a 24-hour control room—jointly operated by two ministries—to monitor the distribution of gas cylinders. The Union Ministry of Home Affairs has established this control room, which comprises executive officials from the Ministries of Information and Broadcasting, and Petroleum and Natural Gas.
