Removal of CEC Gyanesh Kumar: Opposition parties have given a notice in Parliament demanding the removal of the Chief Election Commissioner. The opposition parties have accused the Election Commissioner of acting in favor of the ruling government. This is the first time in Indian history that an Election Commissioner has been demanded to be removed.
