Chennai Digital Arrest: A gang cheated an elderly man in Nolambur by calling him and claiming to be Anti-Terrorism officials, saying he was under “digital arrest”. The fraudsters extorted Rs.1 crore from him. Following his complaint, Central Crime Branch police arrested one person in connection with the case.
