Madras High Court Chief Justice A.T. Jagadish Chandra has issued an order stating that AIADMK Rajya Sabha MP C.V. Shanmugam’s statement that the DMK government, which has started giving monthly cash and laptops, will “give even a bride to a person” cannot be considered as ‘misogynistic’ speech.
