In Jammu and Kashmir, there has been a flood in the Tawi river flowing through Jammu city. Due to the fury of the flood, a part of the bridge (two-lane) built at a cost of Rs. 147 crore was washed away. Due to this, traffic through the river was completely blocked. After the bridge was washed away in the flood, the army personnel completed the construction of an iron bridge on it in 12 hours.
