In a move to promote livestock rearing and increase milk production, the Tamil Nadu government has announced a new financial assistance scheme for farmers. Under this initiative, eligible farmers will be provided loans of up to ₹1.20 lakh each to support dairy farming activities, strengthen rural livelihoods, and enhance the state’s milk output.
