Amid reports claiming that Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam leader Vijay’s Y-category security would be upgraded to Z-category, the Union Home Ministry has issued a clarification denying any such change. Officials confirmed that Vijay will continue to receive Y-category protection as before.
