The Chennai Meteorological Department has said that there is a possibility of heavy rain in Coimbatore and the Nilgiris in Tamil Nadu today, and light to moderate rain with thunder, lightning and wind is likely at a few places in North Tamil Nadu and a few places in South Tamil Nadu. It has been said that there is a possibility of rain in Chennai today as well.
